Steelers Injury Updates: Zach Banner, Isaiah Buggs Non-Participants Thursday
The Pittsburgh Steelers added offensive tackle Zach Banner to their injury report on Thursday after he did not practice due to a knee injury.
Banner missed the majority of the 2020 with a torn ACL, and has seen limited action this season.
Defensive end Isaiah Buggs (ankle) did not practice either on Thursday. He had been a full participant on Wednesday.
Tight end Kevin Rader was limited yesterday, but was held out entirety Thursday as he battle a hip ailment.
Outside linebacker T.J. Watt, who has been battling a groin injury suffered in last week’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings, was a full participant after being limited Wednesday.
Inside linebacker Robert Spillane (knee) and outside linebacker Alex Highsmith (quadricep) were also full participants. Both were limited yesterday as well.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been battling nagging pectoral and shoulder ailments, but was able to practice in a limited capacity Thursday.
Cornerback Joe Haden was also limited. He has not played since suffering a foot injury in Pittsburgh’s Week 10 tie with the Detroit Lions.
Defensive tackle Carlos Davis (knee) was a full participant for the second-straight day.
