WATCH: Kenny Pickett 31-yard TD Pass to George Pickens

Steelers QB Kenny Pickett

With the Steelers trailing 7-0 late in the second quarter and facing third-and-15, Kenny Pickett threw a strike to George Pickens for a 31-yard touchdown to tie the game at 7-7. Pickens was wide open on the score, as the Browns simply had a breakdown in coverage. The Pickett to Pickens rookie connection continues blossom. Four of Pickett’s seven touchdown passes this year have gone to the Georgia product.

On the Steelers’ following drive, Pickett completed a 24-yard back-shoulder pass to Pickens to set Pittsburgh up in field goal range. Pickett nearly found Pickens again on a back-shoulder throw, but it was ruled incomplete and the Steelers settled for a 49-yard field goal by Boswell to end the half with a 10-7 lead. Pickens arguably came up with the grab, but the booth didn’t did think so.
