Former Ole Miss linebacker and Pittsburgh Steelers seventh-round pick Mark Robinson agreed to sign his rookie deal, according to the NFL transactions page on Friday.

Financial terms of the deal were not released. OverTheCap estimates a $705,000 salary for 2022 and a $182,740 signing bonus as the estimated financial allocations for the seventh-round selection.

Robinson, 22, was selected 225th overall and the first of two picks in the second round, joining South Dakota State quarterback Chris Oladokun to round out the 2022 class.

Robinson frequently moved around prior to the beginning of his NFL career. He transferred schools twice and also changed positions from running back to pass rusher.

As a senior, Robinson was a force on the Rebels’ defense, recording 92 tackles, 8.5 tackles-for-loss, and three sacks last season.

The Steelers have also signed second-round wide receiver George Pickens and sixth-round tight end/fullback Connor Heyward.
