Steelers LB Robert Spillane Gets Engaged
While many are busy celebrating the unofficial start to summer this weekend, Steelers linebacker Robert Spillane wanted to ensure the date of May 27th will be one he cherishes forever.
Spillane is now engaged man, proposing to his now fiancé Shelby. The 26-year-old Western Michigan product announced the news with a post Instagram account and then subsequent images in his story.
The Steelers also wanted to ensure the public and all of Steelers Nation were aware of the occasion by tweeting a picture of Spillane and his new fiancé with a graphic from the Instagram caption.

In addition to planning a wedding, Spillane’s focus will now be taking the next step in his career on the field and taking advantage of any opportunity that comes his way. Spillane is coming off an NFL career best in games played and total tackles in 2021 due to filling in for the injured Devin Bush.
