CINCINNATI — Steelers linebacker Robert Spillane has been ruled out of the game with a knee injury, the team announced.

Spillane, the team’s dime linebacker, was quickly ruled out after limping off in the first half. He had been splitting time with Joe Schobert and Devin Bush, who have both struggled thus far on the season.

With no Spillane for the rest of the game and potentially longer, the Steelers will rely upon Bush and Schobert to fill his shoes. It is unknown who the dime linebacker will be behind him, but it would not be shocking to see Schobert, who had that role previously, fill in there.
