It’s not the big on, but Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt has been given an end-of-season award as the best defensive player in the NFL.
Watt was named the 2020 NFL Defensive Player of the Year by FOX Sports on Friday. FOX conducted a fan poll to determine the winner of their award.
We asked and you voted… Your 2020 Defensive Player of the Year is @Steelers LB @_TJWatt!

The Associated Press NFL Defensive Player of the Year is generally considered to be the standard for the award and is the one presented at the annual NFL Honors ceremony.
The Pro Football Writers of America, the Sporting News, Sports Illustrated and Pro Football Focus also select defensive players of the year.
Watt finished the 2020 season as the NFL leader in sacks, quarterback hits and tackles for loss. His 15 sacks finished one sacks short of the team single-season record.
