The Pittsburgh Steelers are heading to Baltimore for the first round of the playoffs. The Steelers had a slim chance to go to Houston, but the Los Angeles Chargers secured the fifth seed by defeating the Las Vegas Raiders, 34-20, on Sunday.

It will be the fifth time that the Steelers meet the Ravens in the playoffs, first since the 2014-2015 season. The Steelers hold a 3-1 advantage over the Ravens in the postseason. All four of the games were played in Pittsburgh.

The Steelers held a two-game lead in the AFC North before dropping their last four games. The Ravens clinched the AFC North title by defeating the Cleveland Browns, 35-10, on Saturday.

On Saturday night, Pittsburgh lost to the Cincinnati Bengals, 19-17. If the Steelers defeated Cincinnati, they would’ve played the Texans in the first round.

It’s the first time since 1998 that Pittsburgh lost their last four games to end a regular season. The Steelers are the third team in NFL history to enter the playoffs on a four-game losing streak. The last team to enter the playoffs on such a streak were the 1999 Detroit Lions.

Baltimore won its last four games to win the AFC North for a second consecutive season. The Ravens out-scored their opponents 135-43 in those contests. With the Ravens red-hot and the Steelers reeling, the early line for the game has Baltimore as 8.5 point favorites.

Ravens star wide receiver Zay Flowers suffered a knee injury against Cleveland, leaving his status for the playoffs up in the air.

During his only catch of the contest, Flowers fell forward to the ground as his right leg whipped against Ravens guard Andrew Vorhees just as Browns linebacker Mohamoud Diabate hit into Flowers’ knee.

Flowers is believed to have suffered a sprain, pending the MRI, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. It’s not considered a major injury, though there is a real chance he misses next week.

The Steelers split the regular-season series against the Ravens. Pittsburgh won 18-16 at Acrisure Stadium in Week 11, while the Ravens were victorious 34-17 in Week 16 at M&T Bank Stadium.
