The Pittsburgh Steelers’ preseason game against the Detroit Lions will be one of a record 23 exhibitions to be aired on NFL Network next month, the league announced Monday.
Pittsburgh and Detroit will kick off from Heinz Field at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, and will be the third game of a quadruple-header on the network.
While the Hall of Fame game against the Dallas Cowboys will be broadcast nationally on FOX, the Steelers’ Aug. 21 affair and other two preseason exhibitions versus the Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers will be carried locally on KDVA-TV.
All of the Steelers’ preseason games will be broadcast on the Steelers Radio Network, including flagship 102.5 WDVE-FM in Pittsburgh.
