Steelers-Lions Preseason Game to be Nationally Televised on CBS

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ preseason game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, Aug. 28 will be nationally televised on CBS at 4:30 p.m., the NFL announced Tuesday.

The game, which will be played during Week 3 of the preseason, is one of six exhibitions that will broadcast to a national audience and the only one carried by CBS.

Detroit will be coming to Heinz Field for the matchup. The clubs played to a 16-16 tie in Pittsburgh last season.

Pittsburgh’s other two preseason games are at home against the Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 13 and at the Jacksonville Jaguars on Aug. 20.
