Steelers Locker Room: Beanie Bishop Breathes ‘Sigh of Relief’ after Making Roster
From the Steelers Locker Room: Undrafted rookie Beanie Bishop breathed a "sigh of relief" after making the initial 53-man roster.
PITTSBURGH — Beanie Bishop has been working with the Pittsburgh Steelers’ starters ever since he got to training camp, so it couldn’t have come as a total shock when he made the team’s 53-man roster on Tuesday.
Not only did Bishop make the squad, the Steelers cut Thomas Graham, paving the way for Bishop to take the lion’s share of the reps as the one and only slot cornerback on the 53-man roster.
Bishop talked about his mentality as an undrafted free agent, his mindset now that he’s made the team, and the reaction of his teammates to the news.
