Steelers Locker Room: New DBs Jackson, Elliott Set the Tone

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers have always had a ton of playmakers on defense, and this year’s team is no exception, with T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward and Minkah Fitzpatrick all expected to pile up the big plays and accolades in the 2024 season.

But setting the tone for the defense this season was a pair of lesser-known new Steelers in defensive backs Donte Jackson and DeShon Elliott.

Each had an interception in Sunday’s season-opening win against the Atlanta Falcons, as the new guys made their case to show they belong in the Steelers locker room.
