Steelers Lose Back-to-Back Home Games for First Time Since 2003

Pittsburgh’s 24-10 loss to Cincinnati on Sunday marked the first time the Steelers have dropped back-to-back home games since 2003.

The Steelers fell to the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field in consecutive weeks 18 years ago. The losses began a five-game skid for Pittsburgh that ended in Week 10.

Coincidentally, the 2003 season was also the last time Pittsburgh had a losing season, as they finished the year with a 6-10 record.

The Steelers have also lost three straight at home if you count the 2020 playoff loss to the Cleveland Browns. The last time the Steelers won on their home turf was Dec. 27, 2020 against the Indianapolis Colts.

They’ll head to the road to face Green Bay in Week 4, but come back to Heinz Field to play the Denver Broncos in Week 5 and Seattle Seahawks in Week 6 with a home-slanted early part of their schedule.
