The Pittsburgh Steelers look to end their three-game home stand on a high note as they welcome in the 3-5 Green Bay Packers on Sunday. These are two teams that are seemingly headed in opposite directions, with the Steelers winning three of their last four and the Packers experiencing the inverse. With Pittsburgh looking to keep pace in a crowded AFC playoff picture, this is a game that they really need to win. Here are some matchups to keep an eye on throughout the afternoon.

Jordan Love vs. Kenny Pickett

Both young quarterbacks are trying to accomplish the impossible which is replace the legendary figure that preceded them. In his first full season as a starter, Jordan Love comes into this matchup ranking 15th in EPA/play and 21st in success rate. The fourth-year pro from Nevada comes equipped with a live arm capable of throwing from different slots and can throw from a phone booth. The issue for him is that he hasn’t gained much experience and is now trying to lead an inexperienced offense that looks dysfunctional more often than not, similar to Pittsburgh’s in recent years. However, his biggest issue is his downfield accuracy despite the arm strength, as he’s completed just 10 of 36 attempts over 20+ yards per Sports Info Solutions.
