Steelers Morning Rush: What’s Wrong with Najee Harris?
Steelers Morning Rush: What has been wrong with Najee Harris and how can Arthur Smith get him back on track?
Welcome to Steelers Morning Rush, our new daily short-form podcast with Alan Saunders, giving a longer perspective on a single news topic surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers or the National Football League. Today, it’s the play of Steelers running back Najee Harris.
Through four games, Harris has rushed 68 times for 228 yards and a 3.4 yards per carry that is down from his career average of 3.9. His latest game was his worst one, rushing 13 time for 19 yards at a 1.5 yards per carry clip in Sunday’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
With backups Jaylen Warren (knee) and Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) both banged up, it’s going to be incumbent on Arthur Smith to find a way to get Najee Harris going against the Dallas Cowboys this week.
How can they do it? Alan breaks it down.
