**Tonight, we now have a new highest paid safety in the NFL.

S Kevin Byard and Titans have agreed on a 5-year, $70.5M deal, via ESPN.

Byard is now the highest-paid safety in NFL history.

In 2016, Kevin Byard did not receive an invitation to the NFL Combine.
Since then:
* Played in all 48 games for the Titans
* Leads the NFL with 12 INT over the past 2 seasons
* Played in 2,130 of 2,136 (99.7%) defensive snaps since 2017
* 2017 first team All Pro

**After demanding a new contract and not receiving it, Chargers star running back Melvin Gordon will not be reporting to Chargers camp today.

When the #Chargers report to camp today, RB Melvin Gordon will not be among his teammates, source said. He’ll follow through on his plans to holdout and will be subject to fines. This should be lengthy, as talks are expected to halt and LAC will focus on the backs who are there.

**Although he’s publicly asked for a trade, it appears as though Browns running back Duke Johnson will be reporting to training camp which opens today for Cleveland.
