The Pittsburgh Steelers have opened as 13.5-point underdogs to the Kansas City Chiefs for their AFC Wild Card playoff game on Jan, 16, according to odds released by BetOnline.ag late on Sunday.

The Steelers were 10-point underdogs when they visited the Chiefs on Dec. 26, and failed to cover that, losing by 26 points.

Since then, Pittsburgh has won outright twice in a row as underdogs to the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens.

On the season, the Steelers are 8-9 against the spread, but 7-4 as underdogs, including six outright victories, three of which have been on the road.

The Chiefs are also 8-9 against the spread, and have been favored in all 17 games. They have lost outright as a favorite five times, including twice at Arrowhead Stadium.

The total for the game is 46.5 points. The Steelers have gone under the total 10 times, over six and pushed once. Both of the Steelers’ last two games have gone under.

Kansas City has exceeded the total 10 times and in five straight games, while going under Sven times.
