The Steelers may be struggling, at least according to their historic tendencies, with a 5-5 record through the 2019 NFL season’s first 11 weeks.

But they’ve got nothing on the Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers’ Week 12 opponent is the NFL’s basement at 0-10 after losing 17-10 to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.

So while Steelers fans may be feeling down about the team’s outlook, the gambling community likes their chances this week.

The Steelers opened as 6 1/2-point favorites over the Bengals for Sunday’s game at Paul Brown Stadium.

It’s the first time the Steelers have been favored outside of Heinz Field this season. Pittsburgh has been favored four times previously, including in its Week 4 game against the Bengals at Heinz Field. The Steelers are 2-2 against the spread as favorites. They covered the 3 1/2-point spread against the Bengals earlier this year, winning by 24 points.

They’re also 2-2 against the spread on the road and 5-4-1 overall.

The Bengals will be underdogs for the ninth time this season and third straight time at home. They are 4-4 against the spread as underdogs, 0-2 as home underdogs and 0-4 overall at home this season.

The total points line for the game is 39 1/2.
