Pittsburgh Steelers right tackle Zach Banner threw out the first pitch at tonight‘s Pittsburgh Pirates game against the Atlanta Braves.
Banner shared some anxiety ahead of his mound debut, and even fielded suggestions as to how he should pitch the ball.
I’m throwing out the 1st pitch tonight at the Bucco’s game…
Overhand/underhand?
Fast ball/curve ball?

Unfortunately Banner fell short and bounced the ball to the Pirate Parrot, but he still had fun doing it, as he usually does.

Banner is the second Steeler to throw out the first pitch at PNC Park this season. Rookie running back Najee Harris did the honor at the Pirates’ June 5 win over the Miami Marlins.
Harris’ was much better.
