The Pittsburgh Steelers placed defensive lineman Chris Wormley on the COVID-19 list on Friday.
Wormley will likely miss his second straight game while in the COVID protocol. He missed the team’s Week 16 game at Kansas City with a groin injury.
The Steelers are missing three of their top four defensive linemen from their preseason roster, with Wormley joining Tyson Alualu and Stephon Tuitt on the shelf.
Wormley was placed on the list along with practice squad defensive end Daniel Archibong on Friday, and joining nose tackle Isaiah Buggs on the list, leaving the team with minimal available depth at the position.
Isaiahh Loudermilk and Henry Mondeaux should be expected to replace Wormley on the field on Monday against the Browns.
