The Steelers have placed cornerback Joe Haden, tight end Eric Ebron and linebacker Cassius Marsh on the COVID-19 reserve list, and elevated four players from the practice squad.

Haden has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss both the regular season finale against Cleveland on Sunday and the Steelers’ playoff opener next weekend.
If Ebron or Marsh have tested positive, they will also have to be out at least 10 days. If they are close contacts of Haden, they will have to sit out five days and could return to practice on Thursday.

Vance McDonald should be expected to start and see the vast majority of reps tight end in place of Ebron. Kevin Rader, up from the practice squad, will also provide depth.

Without Marsh, Jayrone Elliott will be the only backup at outside linebacker behind projected starters Alex Highsmith and Ola Adeniyi, with T.J. Watt not traveling to Cleveland.

Wide receiver Deon Cain, guard/tackle Anthony Coyle and kicker Matthew Wright were also recalled from the practice squad.
