Steelers Players React to Vince Williams’ Retirement

After Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Vince Williams’ abrupt retirement was announced Wednesday, a number of his teammates took to social to share their well wishes and congratulatory messages for No. 98.

“Congratulations on a phenomenal career,” outside linebacker T.J. Watt tweeted. “I’m lucky to have shared the field with you!”

“One of the realest to do it,” cornerback Joe Haden said. “Enjoy your retirement fam!”

“(Vince Williams) is the definition of a true professional,” quarterback Josh Dobbs tweeted. “Congratulations and continuous blessings on a tremendous career brother!”

Others, including safety Terrell Edmunds, expressed messages of support on Instagram.
