The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed punter Jordan Berry to a one-year deal, the club announced Monday.

Berry started eleven games for the Steelers in 2020, posting an average of 45.8 yards per punt and a net average of 40.5 yards. He also placed 23 punts inside the 20-yard like with just three touchbacks.

Berry began is career with Pittsburgh after he was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Kentucky in 2015.

Berry was released prior to the 2020 season after five years in Pittsburgh, and replaced by veteran Dustin Colquitt. After Colquitt struggled through the first five games, the Steelers released him and brought back Berry.

He ranks fourth in franchise history with 385 career punts. Berry also owns the top three single-season net punting averages in franchise annals, including a club record 40.9 mark in 2019.
