ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Inside linebacker Tegray Scales will make his NFL debut for the Pittsburgh Steelers in their game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night, as he is one of the team’s active players after being added to the roster from the practice squad on Saturday.

Scales is one of four inside linebackers the Steelers were able to cobble together, alongside Avery Williamson, Marcus Allen, and Ulysees Gilbert III, who returned from the injured reserve list earlier in the week.

Starters Robert Spillane (injured reserve, knee) and Vince Williams (COVID-19) will miss the game.

Not dressed for the Steelers are injured corner Joe Haden (concussion), quarterback Josh Dobbs, running back Anthony McFarland Jr., offensive lineman Derwin Gray, tight end Kevin Rader and defensive end Isaiah Buggs.

McFarland saw significant reps over the last two weeks but finds himself without a helmet after the return of James Conner, who missed the last two games while on the COVID-19 reserve list.
