UNITY TWP., Pa. —New quarterback Russell Wilson was a limited participant with a minor calf issue, but the rest of the Pittsburgh Steelers took to the playing surface at Chuck Noll Field on the campus of St. Vincent College for the first time in training camp 2024 on Thursday.
As fans filled the stands and ringed the field, the new quarterbacks were the center of attention, with Justin Fields getting first-team work in Wilson’s stead. The club’s rookie offensive linemen are also a focus in 2024, with high hopes for Troy Fautanu, Zach Frazier and Mason McCormick, though all started camp working with the second-team offensive line.
