Steelers Sights and Sounds: Home Turf

PITTSBURGH — After spending the first three weeks of the 2019 season at their training camp facility at St. Vincent College near Latrobe, Pa., the Steelers returned to the familiar confines of the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on the South Side on Monday.

The Steelers began preparations for their Week 3 preseason game, in which they’ll head on the road for the first time when they visit the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

SIGHTS AND SOUNDS

The Steelers defense made three sacks against Kansas City on Saturday, but with a more-mobile quarterback in the offering this week in Marcus Mariota, forcing the issue in the pocket was once again a theme.

INJURY UPDATES

Mike Tomlin said that tight end Vance McDonald is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed ailment. He didn’t provide any updates on any of the players that missed or left the team’s preseason game on Saturday.
