UNITY TWP., Pa. — Russell Wilson made his most extensive practice appearance to day for the Pittsburgh Steelers during the team’s fifth training camp practice of the 2024 season at St. Vincent College on Tuesday. Wilson took part in walkthroughs and warmups, throwing to the full slate of Steelers receivers for the first time in Latrobe. When it came to go live, Wilson was limited to handing off in an 11-on-11 setting, though he did throw in the 7-on-7 period.
“We had him in the helmet,” head coach Mike Tomlin said. “He played some 7-on. He got a little 11-on-11 work, not a lot. We’ll keep progressing with that throughout the week and moving forward, obviously with the mindset of no steps backward as we do so.”
