Steelers Sights and Sounds: T.J. Watt Works at Practice

T.J. Watt

PITTSBURGH — Steelers star outside linebacker T.J. Watt is officially back on the practice field for the week. On Friday, he went through coverage drills for the first time since his injury, learning the ins and outs from senior defensive assistant Brian Flores along with the rest of the linebackers.

Earlier this week, Watt was designated to return from injured reserve. He is now practicing with the team, but can not play in games. Watt has a 21-day window to return to the team and be activated from injured reserve or he is out for the season.

Watt had knee surgery while on injured reserve in addition to the torn pectoral muscle suffered in Cincinnati, which pushed his return back a week or two.
