PITTSBURGH — Broderick Jones took reps alongside starting right guard James Daniels during the individual portion of Pittsburgh Steelers practice on Wednesday, and while Chuks Okorafor rotated in, it looks more and more likely that the rookie first-round draft pick will be making his second consecutive start this Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.

Jones and Okorafor are listed as co-starters on the depth chart this week, but head coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday that he expects Jones to start again this week, but wouldn’t commit to a plan at the position beyond that. Jones has also started one game at left tackle this season in place of an injured Dan Moore Jr. He played at both positions in Georgia, but has usually been projected as a left tackle at the NFL level.

Elsewhere on the practice field, nose tackle Montravius Adams (right ankle) was in uniform, but not participating fully in defensive line drills. Adams was injured early in last Thursday’s 20-16 win over the Tennessee Titans. He was replaced by rookie Keeanu Benton.

Tight end Pat Freiermuth (right ankle) remains on the injured reserve list, but has begun running on his own. Freiermuth must miss at least one more game while on the IR, but he is eligible to be reinstated next week for the Week 11 game. Freiermuth has already come close to returning from the injury one time. He initially suffered the injury against the Houston Texans in Week 4. He was set to return in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Rams, but suffered a setback that landed him on the injured reserve list.
