Pittsburgh Steelers Sights & Sounds: Defensive captain Cam Heyward reported to the team's 2025 OTAs for the first time on Tuesday.
PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers defensive captain Cam Heyward said that he would not be reporting to the team’s organized team activities at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex while he was negotiating a contract extension with the club.
But Heyward was in action on Tuesday for the first practice of the third and final week of OTAs, taking part in drills alongside his fellow defensive linemen.
There’s no word on the status of the contract talks between Heyward and the club.
