Steelers Sights & Sounds: Chuks, OTs Work Pulls; DL Plays Whack-a-Mole

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers had their final practice of the week on Saturday, as the team wrapped up its preparations for the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football.

The offensive tackles worked on pulling blocks with assistant offensive line coach Isaac Williams. Included in that group was starting right tackle Chuks Okorafor, who has been listed as a limited participant in practice all week while in the concussion protocol.

If Okorafor can’t play, first-round pick Broderick Jones will replace him. Jones has been working at right tackle with Okorafor out, and worked both the right and left side of the drill.

The defensive line was working with outside linebackers coach Denzel Martin on a read-and-react drill. Martin popped out a pad to the left or the right of the defensive player in a stance, and they had to hit it. Starting defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi, who did not practice on Friday with his foot injury, was front and center for this drill.

The Steelers will already be without starting defensive tackle Cam Heyward, who is out eight weeks after undergoing core muscle surgery.

The team will release its final injury report and game status update on Saturday afternoon.
