PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers defensive line was missing a few bodies as it performed a pre-practice individual drill in the snow at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on Wednesday. Defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi (groin) was not in the rotation.

Head coach Mike Tomlin had said on Tuesday to expect Ogunjobi to be limited after he left Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns in the first half with the injury. Montravius Adams continues to work his way back from a knee injury and appears to be putting himself in consideration to play this week if Ogunjobi can’t, Cam Heyward and T.J. Watt were also not in the drill line, though they have frequently been given Wednesdays off as veteran players.

In the secondary, Donte Jackson was back in action after leaving Sunday’s game with a back injury. Safety DeShon Elliott was not performing drills with the safeties, moving Minkah Fitzpatrick into the box with Damontae Kazee alongside.

The Steelers will practice again on Thursday and Friday before traveling to Philadelphia for their 4:30 p.m. Sunday game against the Eagles, so they still have time to get Elliott and Ogunjobi back in the fold.
