PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris returned to practice on Thursday, and looked no worse for wear, after missing the team’s Wednesday practice session with a rib injury. Harris rushed for over 100 yards for the first time in the season on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders and it seems that holding him out of practice on Wednesday was mostly precautionary.
Free safety Damontae Kazee also got back to work on Thursday. Kazee suffered an ankle injury when he stepped on a ball in warmups before the team’s Week 5 game against the Dallas Cowboys. He was able to play that game, but swelling prevented him from practicing last week and he missed the Raiders game and this Wednesday’s practice before returning on Thursday.
