Mack has played in 21 career games, recording eleven total tackles, 1.5 sacks and a tackle-for-loss.

He played collegiately at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he was named the Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2018. Mack posted 78 tackles, eleven tackles-for-loss and 8.5 sacks.

The Steelers also released nose tackle Eli Ankou and signed wide receiver Anthony Miller on Tuesday. The Lions signed away cornerback Mark Gilbert.
