With the 2024 season wrapped up, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed multiple players to reserve/future contracts on Tuesday. One of the signings was former New England Patriots safety Joshuah Bledsoe.

Bledsoe was a sixth-round selection by the Patriots in 2021. He played in four games and recorded only one tackle during his three-year tenure with the Pats.

On August 28, 2024, Bledsoe was waived by the Patriots. He’s been a free agent ever since. On November 21, 2024, Bledsoe signed with the San Antonio Brahmas of the United Football League (UFL).

Bledsoe played at Missouri from 2017 to 2020. During his career, he had 130 tackles, one interception and one sack over 46 games.

In his last season at Missouri in 2020, Bledsoe recorded 41 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, six passes defended and one interception.

Bledsoe checked in at 5-foor-11 and 204 pounds at the 2021 NFL Combine.

In addition to Bledsoe, the Steelers signed offensive lineman Dylan Cook, defensive tackle Domenique Davis, linebacker Devin Harper, running back Evan Hull, defensive back D’Shawn Jamison, wide receiver Brandon Johnson, guard Steven Jones, linebacker Eku Leota, wide receiver Lance McCutcheon, defensive back Kyler McMichael, guard Doug Nester, linebacker Thomas Rush, running back Aaron Shampklin, defensive tackle Jacob Slade, quarterback Skylar Thompson and linebacker Julius Welschof to reserve/future contracts.
