The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed former Pine-Richland, Youngstown State and Green Bay Packers tight end Kevin Rader to a reserve/futures contract for the 2019 season.

Rader played college football at Youngstown State, where he amassed 44 receptions for 601 yards and four touchdowns. None of his catches are as famous as his amazing catch in the FCS playoffs, where he caught a ball with one hand, pinning it against the back of a defender in the endzone.

The Steelers will need depth at their tight end position, as both Jesse James and Xavier Grimble are set to become free agents this offseason.
