The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed wide receiver Anthony Miller, to their practice squad the club announced Tuesday.
A second-round selection of the Chicago Bears in 2018, Miller last played for the Houston Texans as recently as Week 4. Miller caught five passes for 23 yards and a touchdown in two games with Houston.
Over his career, Miller has recorded 139 receptions for 1,587 yards 12 touchdowns.
Miller joins the Steelers in the aftermath of JuJu Smith-Schuster’s season-ending shoulder injury, which he suffered during Sunday’s victory over the Denver Broncos.
Miller is expected to provide depth behind Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool, James Washington and Ray-Ray McCloud.
