Steelers Star WR Unexpectedly Lands on Injury Report
Pittsburgh Steelers Montravius Adams, Calvin Austin III and Alex Highsmith were limited in practice on Wednesday.
PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers had a fully healthy team at practice on Thursday. That good injury news lasted all of 24 hours, as star wide receiver George Pickens unexpectedly landed on the injured report on Friday with a hamstring injury.
He is officially questionable to play on Sunday when the Steelers host the Cleveland Browns for their Week 15.
Pickens had been a full participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. it’s unclear when the injury occurred or how it might affect him in the game if he does play.
Pickens spoke to the media after practice, but was not asked about the injury.
