There has been plenty of player movement over the first two weeks of NFL free agency, and while the Pittsburgh Steelers have retained more of their players that many originally though they’d be able to, the end result hasn’t moved the needle when it comes to the team’s championship chances.
According to updates odds released this week, the Steelers now have 33/1 odds to win Super Bowl LVI. That figure is exactly the same as the Steelers’ odds just after the season on Feb. 8.
The Kansas City Chiefs remain the odds-on favorites, though their odds have lengthened from 5/1 to 11/2. The defending champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers have seen their odds shorten from 9/1 to 6/1 after retaining nearly all of their Super Bowl LV-winning team.
The Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams have 12/1 odds, Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers have 14/1 odds and AFC North rivals Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns have 18/1 odds.
The Indianapolis Colts (20/1), New England Patriots (25/1), Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks (28/1) all have better odds than the Steelers.
The Los Angeles Chargers, Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans also have 33/1 odds, with the other three teams seeing their odds lengthen into a tie with the Steelers.
