Steelers Talk: Breaking Down Trubisky, Wallace Signings with Muki Hawkins
The Pittsburgh Steelers have made official the signing of quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, the team announced on Thursday. The Steelers first agreed to the signing on March 14.
The team did not announced the terms of the two-year contract, but it is reportedly for $14 million over two seasons, with a $5 million guaranteed signing bonus and a potential for $13.75 million in incentives. Only the $5 million in signing bonus is guaranteed.
The club also officially announced the signing of free agent cornerback Levi Wallace on Thursday, and his contract details have been reported.
Wallace, 26, comes to Pittsburgh after four years as a starting cornerback for the Buffalo Bills. His contract is for two years, $8 million. There is a $2.965 million signing bonus, and $1.035 million in salary in 2022, with a $4 million salary in 2023, balancing the cash equally between the two seasons.
