Steelers to Release Morgan Burnett
The Steelers will release Morgan Burnett by April first, according to https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1109084161279750145″>ESPN’s

This news comes after Burnett reportedly requested his release following the season and the team signed free agent corner Steve Nelson.
Steelers need to hit on Steven Nelson signing. The last two big-money free agent adds, Ladarius Green (2016) and Morgan Burnett (2018), each played one season with the team. Injuries were a factor. But spending hasn’t paid off of late. Tyson Alualu was more affordable and stuck.

Prior to signing with the Steelers, Burnett had spent his entire career in Green Bay, compiling 706 tackles and 9 interceptions. He was a member of the Packers Super Bowl XLV championship team.
