UNITY TWP., Pa. — The Pittsburgh Steelers wrapped up their training camp for the 2023 season at St. Vincent College on Thursday. Alan Saunders and Nick Farabaugh of Steelers Now have been with the Steelers at camp since the very beginning, and they wrapped up camp with their final camp report.
The guys recapped the highs and lows of camp and picked out their positive and negative surprises from 16 practices on Chuck Noll Field.
Alan highlighted the lack of fights in an otherwise spirited training camp setting, along with the play of Isaiahh Loudermilk, Anthony McFarland and Joey Porter Jr., while Nick highlighted Dan Moore Jr.’s resurgence as the team’s starting left tackle. On the negative side, the play at the slot cornerback position and among the team’s depth wide receiver options has largely been below expectations.
