Steelers Week 15 Game vs. Bills Flexed to Sunday Night

The Steelers’ Week 15 game against the Buffalo Bills at Heinz Field has been flexed into prime time and will now kick off at 8:20 p.m. on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.

The kickoff was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. The game will be the sixth prime-time game of the season for the Steelers.

The 9-3 Bills and 7-5 Steelers are both currently in position to be Wild Card teams in the AFC.

The Steelers are 3-2 in their previous five prime time games this season. They played at New England and at the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football, hosted the Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football and visited the Cleveland Browns for Thursday Night Football.

The Steelers were one of several teams to be schedule to appear in prime time five times this season. Though the league’s flexible schedule policy runs through Week 17, teams are not typically asked to play more than six primetime games in a season.

The Steelers are currently scheduled for 1 p.m. kickoffs at the New York Jets on Dec. 22 and at the Baltimore Ravens on Dec. 29.

The Bills have not played a primetime game this season.
