Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster on Antonio Brown: ‘He Still Has Me Blocked’
Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster would like to repair his relationship with Antonio Brown, but that’s just not possible at this time. Smith-Schuster, who recently re-signed with the Steelers for one more year, explained that his former teammate has him blocked across all social media platforms, and even has his number blocked, when appearing on Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin’s podcast.
The two former teammates had a public falling out after Brown’s dramatic departure from the Steelers following the 2018 season. Their issue initially turned into a Twitter storm after Brown responded to a tweet about Smith-Schuster winning team MVP by calling out his younger teammate’s fumble in a pivotal game that season.
Emotion: boy fumbled the whole post season in the biggest game of year ! Everyone went blind to busy making guys famous not enough reality these days ! 🤙🏾 by the way check the list https://t.co/2SWWT8k0jx

Brown would continue his public smear campaign until Smith-Schuster responded with a tweet of his own, detailing how he felt about a player he once looked up to turning on him.
All I ever did was show that man love and respect from the moment I got to the league. I was genuinely happy for him too when he got traded to Oakland w/ a big contract, and now he takes shots at me on social media?

Besides a couple tweets, Smith-Schuster mostly took the high road when asked about Brown, even referring to him as “my guy” when approached with a question from TMZ.
While their public feud eventually calmed down and Brown would return to the NFL last season, eventually winning a Super Bowl with the Buccaneers, it remained unclear if the two ever buried the proverbial hatchet. We now have the answer, and it’s clearly unlikely to be happening any time soon.
