Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster Stars in Verizon Super Bowl Commercial

Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster — or at least his animated likeness — starred in a Verizon wireless commercial that aired during Super Bowl LV on Sunday night.

Smith-Schuster appeared in the commercial based on the video game Fortnite that touts the speed of Verizon’s wireless network. Smith-Schuster is an avid gamer and plays Fortnite frequently.

In the commercial, Smith-Schuster rides a giant fish that eats a character played by Samuel L. Jackson.

Smith-Schuster was also featured in the NFL’s NFL 100 commercial that aired in 2019.
