Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt is the favorite to finally earn an NFL Defensive Player of the Year nod, according to odds released Monday by Sportsbetting.ag.
Watt is listed as the favorite at +125, followed by Dallas Cowboys rookie Micah Parsons (+225), reigning player of the year Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams and Robert Quinn of the Chicago Bears (+750).
Watt is second in the NFL with 17.5 sacks with two games to go, one-half sack behind Quinn. He’s also tied for fourth in tackles for loss and second in forced fumbles.
Cowboys defensive back Trevon Diggs, Browns end Myles Garrett, 49ers end Nick Bosa and Bengals end Trey Hendrickson are the other players with listed odds.
Watt finished second to Donald in the 2020 voting and third behind Stephon Gilmore in 2019.
