T.J. Watt Has Second-Best NFL Defensive Player of the Year Odds, Behind Cleveland’s Myles Garrett

Even after exiting Thursday night’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings with a groin injury, Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt owns the second-best odds to win NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Watt is +325 to take home the hardware at season’s end, courtesy of BetOnline.

He still leads the league with 16 sacks, and has managed to do so in just eleven games. Watt also has 16 tackles-for-loss, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is currently the favorite for NFL Defensive Player of the Year at +175. He had a sack and returned a fumble for a touchdown in Sunday’s win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Watt’s odds are just ahead of Dallas Cowboys rookie linebacker Micah Parsons, who owns the third-best odds at +350. He has made an instant impact for Dallas recording 75 total tackles, 17 tackles-for-loss and 12 sacks.
