Smith will have the added pressure of playing at Heinz Field against a Steelers team that earned its first home victory last week. Even without Wilson and the the injured JuJu Smith-Schuster, there will still be plenty of elite talents on the field for this one, so player props betting figures to be strong.
Let’s take a look at our top Seahawks vs. Steelers player props picks for this Sunday Night Football matchup.

The Best Seahawks vs. Steelers Player Props
Ben Roethlisberger Longest Completion Over 35.5 Yards
While we know that Ben Roetherlisberger’s career is winding down, this is still a guy attempting the sixth most passes this season, while also completing the ninth most. He will be facing a Seattle defense that ranks next to last in passing yards allowed and is sixth worst in yards per completion (11.8).

Seattle has given up a completion of 51 yards or longer in three of its last four games, allowing an opposing receiver to pull down at least six balls for 118 yards or better in all four. Roethlisberger has topped this prop’s yardage requirement on at least one pass in three of his last four games, doing so twice both last week and in Week 2.

This matchup should bring Roethlisberger a breather. While he will face a Swiss cheese secondary Sunday night, his previous opponents this season were ranked second, third, fifth, 10th, and 16th best in passing yards allowed. Those are some elite pass stopping teams and Roethlisberger should find far more space through the air in this one than he has thus far. He already would have cashed this prop in 60 percent of his games, but he now gets to face his softest pass defense yet.
Najee Harris Over 71.5 Rushing Yards
Najee Harris somehow flew under the radar last weekend following a 23-carry, 122-yard performance against Denver in which he added two catches for 20 yards and a rushing touchdown. However, the Steelers drafted him to be a three-down back and that is just what he is becoming.

Those 23 rushes last Sunday were seven more than he has received in a game this season. His rushing yardage production has spiked from a high of 45 yards through the first three weeks to 62 yards in Week 4. Then, the number exploded during last Sunday’s 122-yard effort. Given the Steelers should be leading this game late, Harris should get increased opportunities to put things away.

We have already noted how poor this Seattle pass defense is, but that is just one part of what is the league’s worst overall defense. The Seahawks also rank next to last against the run, allowing opponents to pick up 145.2 yards per game on the ground this season. Seattle’s opposition has run the ball 32.4 times per game, the second highest average against any team.
Since Week 1, every team Seattle has faced has had a running back rush the ball at least 17 times and pick up at least 89 yards on the ground. When Derrick Henry faced them, he piled up 182 yards and three touchdowns on 35 carries. In short, Harris should have every chance to get over 100 yards on the ground.
DK Metcalf Anytime Touchdown Scorer
DK Metcalf missed practice on Thursday, but he looks poised to play. Metcalf and his 6’4”, 235 pound frame will prove a comforting target for Geno Smith.

So far this season, Seattle wide receivers have 10 touchdowns, including at least one in each game. Even Smith, who entered for Wilson last week, was able to find Metcalf for the receiver’s second score of the night.

Metcalf now has five touchdown receptions through five games in 2021, tied for the second most in the NFL. He has now scored in three straight games and in four of five overall. ell.
That trend alone could be enough to back this young star here, but when you consider what Pittsburgh’s defense has done against opposing wide receivers, the play becomes more appealing. This goes unnoticed to most because the Steelers are a middle-of-the-pack 19th against the pass. However, that masks the fact that this group has given up at least one touchdown catch to a wide receiver in every game this season.
In fact, wide receivers have caught 9 of the 11 touchdowns Pittsburgh has allowed in 2021. Interestingly, the Steelers have not allowed a running back to score yet, as Aaron Rodgers owns the only rushing touchdown against this unit. Look for Metcalf to be a safety net for Smith around the endz one against a Pittsburgh secondary that cannot seem to keep opposing wide receivers from reaching paydirt.
