Three Injured Steelers Ruled Out vs. Bengals
PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers will be almost fully healthy when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday for their Week 18 regular season finale, as they’ll have almost the entire group of players that has been playing most of this season available to them.
Cornerback Donte Jackson is questionable with the pinched nerve in his back, but other than that the rest of the team is full go — except for the three Steelers who just returned to practice from the injured list this week.
Linebacker Cole Holcomb, defensive lineman Logan Lee and wide receiver Roman Wilson have been ruled out for Saturday’s game. Wilson was a full participant in practice all week, while Lee and Holcomb were limited all three days.
It seems likely that the three late-season activations are simply for depth purposes, but the Steelers could choose to activate them if they have an injury against the Bengals. The players have three weeks of practice before the team must make a decision on their status.
