Titans QB Ryan Tannehill Suffers Injury Ahead of Steelers Game

Steelers Titans QB Ryan Tannehill

Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill suffered an ankle injury in the team’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens in London, leading to questions about his availability moving forward. Tannehill was seen on crutches postgame, which could signal an extended absence. The Steelers host the Titans on November 2nd for Thursday Night Football.

If Tannehill can not go, it would likely be one of Malik Willis or Will Levis playing. Willis is the backup, though he struggled after coming into the game in relief of Tannehill. This season, the Steelers have not played against a backup quarterback. However, Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson has a shoulder injury that could force the Colts to play backup Gardner Minshew for the rest of the season.

The Titans currently sit at 2-4 after falling to the Ravens. That win for Baltimore pushed them into first place in the division. However, the Titans have plenty to worry about, with Tannehill now injured. The Titans will have their bye week before playing the Atlanta Falcons and then the Steelers on Thursday Night Football.

So far, Tannehill has two touchdowns with six interceptions. He briefly returned to the game before heading onto a cart and into the locker room. The Titans now hope he can get healthy after the bye week.
