PITTSBURGH — Troy Polamalu’s emotional Hall of Fame enshrinement speech at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio this summer drew praise for its emotional description of the Steelers way and his connection to the franchise.
Sunday at Heinz Field, Polamalu returned to Pittsburgh for the team’s Alumni Weekend. Polamalu and the team’s three others recent living inductees, Bill Cowher, Alan Faneca and Donnie Shell, will received their Hall of Fame rings at halftime of the Steelers’ Sunday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Before the game, Polamalu was asked about the formation of his speech, and he got emotional describing how his wife Theodora helped him.
